* Date Out of Your League – If you’re dating someone who’s wealthy and travels in circles of the rich and famous, make sure that you present yourself like someone who can travel with him whether it’s dinner and a movie or golfing, charity dinners at private homes and other places you may or may not have been. Successful men and women will want a date that they can take anywhere which means you have to know what to wear so you not just stand out as a stunning date, but also blend into his social circle.
* Date for Fun – If you wear one piece of “fun” or whimsical clothing, like bright shoes or a novelty shirt, you’re telling your date that you’re light and you like to laugh – and the date will go that way! What you wear makes you feel different ways. Wearing all black may make you subdued and sophisticated while bright colors may bring out your livelier sides.
* Date Geeks – If you’re dating a Bill Gates geeky-genius, you don’t want to show up wearing an Armani suit if he’s in a bowling shirt and jeans. Dress to fit the occasion, but also to “fit” your date. If you want to be a couple, you may have to make adjustments to look like a couple.
* Date for One Night or Long Term – When it comes to sexy clothes, choose one sexy item to wear per date. In other words, play up one part of your body at a time. A shirt that favors your chest is great, but if you pair it with a short skirt and “do me” shoes you’re going to convey the wrong message — unless your intentions are for one night, and one night only. Show off great legs one date. On the next date show off another of your assets. Tantalize him with your looks and your style as you get to know him, and decide if he deserves the grand finale, when he gets to see it all.
